Trek for Becks
The “Trek for Becks” project has been inspired by 2 parents who lost their daughter to Cystic Fibrosis 4 years ago. Becky Westlake died on 11th March 2004 at Harefield Hospital awaiting a heart and lung transplant. She was 19 years old.
Her parents, who were committed supporters of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust throughout her life, have decided to raise money for the Trust and the hospitals that treated her by retracing the last journey Becks took from her home city in Bristol to Harefield.
The project has the full approval of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and is to be run under that charity’s auspices and registration.
If you have any enquiries about the project, you can contact Trek for Becks at enquiries@trekforbecks.co.uk.
